Surf and Turf

For our big Valentine's Day/anniversaries dinner extravaganza
Jon aged a piece of meat and cooked it along with some lobster tails.
It was all delicious and very special.

This is the fatty tuna from the huge tuna
they carved up freshly at Mitsuwa the weekend we got back.
Mmm . . . fisheh!

The Fluffiest Egg in the World!

You might have thought you've eaten a fluffy egg before,
but you haven't.

I have no idea how many eggs are in this dish,
or how they get it to be so fluffy,
but it's freakin' delicious.

It's what I call the fluffy egg dish

It's a helluva deal at less than $10 for:

the fluffiest egg in the world!
the most delicious demi-glace sauce
the most succulent mushrooms and onions
the most mouthwateringly buttery rice
the most melty stewed beef (or you can get shrimp)

AND

a healthy little salad and cherry tomato on the side.

It's so good.
