After lunch, Cui and I went to the Intrepid because she's never been--and it was Fleet Week, so we thought'd it be fun. She's standing in front of a submarine we went in. The submarine used to really be used and held nuclear weapons for defensive purposes...something like that. There's a periscope, claustrophobic rooms, and sometimes you can feel the currents making the submarine sway. There was a little boy who kept asking interesting questions--questions I'd ask if I were a talkative little boy. His mom suggested that he "zip it" though. I guess she sensed that not everyone wanted to hear what he had to say. Poor kid. Submarine was really cool though!
